Come learn the techniques and benefits of Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy Massage
Classes will be held in Appleton, Wisconsin on May 16 - 18. 

The therapist will learn to effleurage with their feet while using an over-head bar system. One-footed posterior sequences are used in the standing routine and two footed strokes for the seated routine.

Day One - 8:45 – 6:30
History of barefoot massage
General systemic contraindications
Instruction in basic AOBT strokes
Proper follow-up care instructions for clients

Day Two - 9:00 – 6:30
Further instruction in basic strokes AOBT strokes
Further instruction and practice in correct application of strokes
Practice directly on the instructor to get specific feedback on how to improve your technique
Guided practical on therapists in class

Day Three 9:00 – 5:30
Detailed explanation and Q&A regarding tables, linens, bolsters, and what supplies you will need
Detailed explanation and Q&A on bar construction in a standard residential type ceiling, commercial drop-in ceiling and special ceiling situations
Information on how to begin practicing AOBT to get your required time/hours for certification
Explanation and Q&A about certification process and marketing
Further practice time to perfect your stroke technique
Guest client practical session and feedback from guest clients
